Games to get Family and Friends Having Fun this Easter
Don’t get us wrong, here at Glorious Difference headquarters we love a good, chocolate Easter egg (or Bilby!), but we also think Easter should also be about spending quality time with family and friends. So we’ve put together a few games for a fun and different Easter party! Games can really liven up the atmosphere at a gathering. They get people talking and laughing, which is what it’s all about. We believe games shouldn’t just be for kids – everyone should get involved! A fun game takes you back to your childhood and breaks down barriers. Easter is a great time to relax and enjoy the company of the people you love, while taking advantage of those four, glorious days off work.
So here are a few Easter game ideas to consider this Easter:
Flashlight Egg Hunt
A spin on the traditional, daytime egg hunt, this version takes place after dark. Everyone searches for eggs in the dark, either inside or outside. BYO torch!
Chocolate Egg and Spoon Races
You’ll need a bit of room to run around in and if you’re feeling adventurous add an obstacle course! The aim of the game of course is to make it to the finish line first without losing the egg off your spoon. The winner gets a prize. If you’re doing this with kids, consider putting something on their spoons (like Blu-Tack) to help the egg stick as it can be a bit tricky. If you lose it’s no big deal – you still get to eat an egg!
Easter Egg Rolling
Everyone chooses an egg (either numbered or by colour) and the eggs are rolled down a hill. The egg that reaches the base of the hill first is the winner and receives a prize.
Easter Egg Bowling
Choose an egg to be the target and roll it into the centre of the room or space where you’re playing. Everyone is given an egg of a different colour to the one in the centre. Take turns to see who can roll their egg closest to the egg in the centre. The egg that rolls closest is the winner and gets a prize.
Nosey Egg Roll
The aim of the game is to roll eggs across the line using only your nose! First person across the line wins a prize.
Stumped for prize ideas? Why not giveaway chocolate Bilbies? Bilbies are native Australian marsupials that are endangered. Pink Lady donate 30 cents for every large Bilby sold to Bilby conservation.
