Sydney’s Hidden Picnic Spots – The Bible Garden

Hidden amongst the trees on Palm Beach headland lies the magic Bible Garden. With beautiful views down to Palm Beach and Pittwater it’s a great place to enjoy time with family and friends and be at one with nature.

Originally belonging to the Garigal people, the land was taken by the Crown and many year later sold to Gerald Hercules Robinson in 1957. Mr Robinson established The Bible Garden and devoted his later life to planting plants from the old and new testaments. After Mr Robinson’s death his family started a committee to maintain the gardens, and in 2006 the Council took over ownership.

There is something very special about the gardens that you just have to experience. Spend a bit of time and visit armed with a picnic blanket, food and friends.
